Dinosaur Mania

We ended our dinosaur study today with a volcano experiment to see first hand one reason the dinosaurs became extinct.  Then, we had a dinosaur dig and special dinosaur snack!

It's a good thing we reread our Katie's Cupcakes advertisement this morning.  We realized that on Fridays... Katie sells brownie cupcakes!  Of course, we had to make some for our special morning snack!  Chef Carter was great at helping us decorate. Yum Yum!

ABC Bootcamp

The Little Red Hen Makes a Pizza... and so did we!!!!

After reading the Little Red Hen, we decided to show the lazy animals in the story what can happen if you follow the habit... "Put First Things First!"  We all made our pizza, wrote about our ingredients, and then we enjoyed our treat!  We hope the animals will learn a lesson and help the little red hen next time!

Boys vs. Girls in the apple race of the century!  It was a tie with boys and girls each scoring 7 points! After the race, we had more fun eating our apples, sampling apple pie, drinking apple cider, and even making an awesome apple craft!

                                                           Kindergarten and the Beanstalk
We have been 'under construction' in kindergarten this week.  We teamed up with our peanut butter and jelly partners to construct an awesome beanstalk!  What did we learn?  As you build higher and higher... your beanstalk becomes more delicate (vocabulary in action).

The secret mission is complete... these moms are officially on the princess team!
